  trajectory data present significant challenges in storage scalability and
  computational efficiency.  We introduce TDWbench - a benchmark designed 
 to assess and compare two alternative trajectory data warehouse schema des
 igns\, i.e.\, point-based and cell-based. TDWbench is based on a large-sca
 le open maritime trajectory dataset provided by the Danish Maritime Author
 ity The benchmark allows assessing trade-offs between storage efficiency\,
  query performance\, and query accuracy. We provide experimental results t
 hat demonstrate how TDWbench supports the comparison of trajectory data wa
 rehouse models with realistic analytical workloads\, for different spatial
